The outbreak of corona virus originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has the World Health Organization on alert, although for the moment it has ruled out declaring the international emergency. The vast majority of cases have been registered in China, but there are also other countries affected by the corona virus. Which are?

Which countries have the most COVID-19 cases?
As of March 26, the U.S. has the most confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, and in the days since, the numbers there have grown rapidly. However, the U.S. has seen fewer deaths compared to other countries with high case counts like China, Italy, and Spain.
China, where the virus was first identified, and which had long been the country most impacted by its spread, has seen fewer and fewer new COVID-19 cases per day in the past week or two, while the count continues to rise in western Europe and the U.S.

According to these records US, Spain and Italy has the most no. of cases all across the world.
According to sources US has almost crossed the count of 2,50,000 whereas Spain and Italy has crossed almost 1,15,000 with 1000’s of deaths in the country.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is set to declare a state of emergency, media reports said, after coronavirus cases in Tokyo jumped over the weekend to top 1,000, raising worries of a more explosive surge.
What’s the situation in Europe?
On Monday, Spain reported 812 new deaths in the space of 24 hours – bringing its total death toll to 7,340. It now has more than 85,000 infections – surpassing the number of cases reported in China.
New measures have also come into force in Spain banning all non-essential workers from going to their jobs. The restrictions will be in place for at least two weeks
Italy remains the worst affected country worldwide. More than 10,000 people have died from the virus there, and it has recorded nearly 100,000 infections. Only the US has more confirmed cases, although the death toll there is far lower.
India among top 30 countries at 'high risk' from coronavirus spread.
The most "at risk" countries or regions worldwide are Thailand (1), Japan (2), and Hong Kong (3). The US is 6th on the list, Australia 10th, the UK 17th and India 23rd, the researchers said in the study released on Tuesday.
According to the study by the university's World Pop team, Bangkok in Thailand is currently the city most at risk from a global spread of the virus. Hong Kong is second on the list, followed by Taipei in Taiwan.
Sydney, New York and London are among the top 2.

The United States entered one of the most critical weeks so far in the coronavirus crisis with government officials warning the death toll in states such as New York, Michigan and Louisiana was a sign of trouble to come in other states.
Russia cases jump by almost 1,000 in 24 hours
Russia's coronavirus case tally has risen to 6,343 in the past 24 hours, a record daily increase of 954, the country's crisis response centre has said.
Cases have been recorded widely, but Moscow remains the epicentre of the outbreak with 591 new cases, the centre said. At least 47 people have died across the country, it said.
